GoatFace

GoatFace is the creator of Call Hating and founder of GoatFace Games. He began coding at a very early age, creating his first worlds at around age 10 in a game called ZZT that allowed users to create scripts and edit their own levels. In his teen years, he made many skins, levels, and mods for games such as Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight. He also tinkered with animation, creating humorous Flash animations. After many years of parenthood, education and practice in healthcare and education, the COVID-19 quarantine gave him some time to rekindle his love of games and animation, and he learned Godot game engine and worked on Call Hating for 2.5 years in his free time, finally publishing it in 2023. He is currently working with Razor, a fellow game enthusiast and developer, to create Mentalistic.

Razor

Razor was born in the late 80s and started playing video games by the age of 3 years old. He was instantly fascinated and addicted to the amazing worlds and adventures that they offer. This has led to the development of a very curious and well-adapted mind that has excelled in anything that it has pursued. That passion for games led to an interest in developing them and he started the game development journey in the early 2000s when he started creating arcade games using Game Maker in high school.

After graduating high school in 2006, he pursued a Bachelor's degree in Game and Simulation Programming at DeVry University, which was finally completed in 2009. This educational foundation allowed him to delve deeper into the world of game development.

Over the years, he has worked extensively with the Unity engine, using C# as his preferred programming language, making a wide range of game styles, from 2D RPGs to first-person survival games. This diverse background has provided him with valuable insights into different aspects of the game design and development process.

Recently, he has been honing his skills in C++ as he has transitioned to the powerful Unreal Engine, which offers the most advanced capabilities and potential for creating immersive gaming experiences. His commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends ensures that he is up to date on the latest and greatest trends and information.
